Tattoo #16: Playstation controller.
This tattoo was done by my amazing tattooist in Tasmania, Australia.

This picture was taken half an hour after the tattoo was completed, so there is a lot of swelling, blood, smudging, & shine (& shadowing from the camera, it’s not darker on one side, both are identical).

I grew up with games, & 99% of my favourite games are on the Playstation (Wild Arms, Breath of Fire III, Star Ocean: Second Story, Final Fantasy VIII, etc). So I thought, what better way to show what I love? Some people are going to hate this tattoo, but it doesn’t interfere with my career, nor is it something I’ll regret. Gaming has always been part of my life & it always will be. This tattoo is part of who I am & I’m proud of the woman I’ve grown up to be.

It’s not healed all the way but I couldn’t wait to take pictures of it! So here is my anchor tattoo for my dad because he has been my anchor through all the toughest parts of life. I love him so much and this probably won’t be the last tattoo dedicated to him (it certainly isn’t the first!).
